About Tanya

I am an Educational Psychologist with a rich professional background that includes a decade of teaching experience in both government and private school settings. In addition to my professional role, I am a dedicated wife and mother to a wonderful daughter.

My academic journey included postgraduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and the University of Johannesburg (UJ), where I developed my expertise in the field of educational psychology. Following my studies, I completed a tailor-made internship that further refined my knowledge and practical application of educational psychology. One of my key areas of passion is assessment, where I find great fulfilment in understanding the unique learning profiles of individuals.

My work is driven by a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. As an Educational Psychologist, I aim to guide, support, and empower learners and their families throughout their educational journeys. My approach is grounded in holistic development, with a strong focus on recognising and nurturing each learner’s unique strengths and potential.
